In addition to providing easy access to more than 4 billion web pages, Google has many special features to help you to find exactly what you're looking for. Don't forget to use the advanced search features such as Google Scholar and Google Uncle Sam.
Ask.com's search engine offers many innovative features and tools to help you get the information you need quickly and easily. You can get a glimse of the home page of a web site by hovering on the magnifying glass.
Through the advanced search, Yahoo's subject directory is able to return pages containing; specified media types of technologies, limit to a specified period of time, and in specific languages. 
Dogpile, a metasearch engine, makes searching more of the web easier by returning the best results from the following leading engines: Google, Yahoo, Ask Jeeves, LookSmart, Teoma, Overture and FindWhat.

Internet Public Library is the first public library of and for the Internet community. Innitailly a project of School of Information and Library Studies graduate students at the University of Michigan, IPL has many subject collections in it's directory that have been evaluated for use as educational resources.
