Congratulations...

VOICE CLASSES
I am thrilled to announce that through a re-allocation of resources in the music program we have secured time to add the much needed and desired voice classes at the High School Level!!!
Every student in the Mixed, Treble and Select Choir will have a 20-30 minute voice class each week on a rotation schedule. The rotation will ensure that no student will miss a specific class more than once every 4-6 weeks. In addition there will be before school, after school and lunch time lesson make-up slots offered every week so that a student can arrange not to miss a crucial class period in any subject. My goal is to be as flexible and accommodating as possible to offer individualized vocal skill development without negatively impacting students' academics in any way.

CONGRATULATIONS...
to everyone involved in the Virginia Beach '07 trip!!

Thank you to the students and chaperones who helped this trip be safe and fun.

Select will perform A Sabbath Morning at Sea in their spring concert on May 17th. We thank The Commission Project for making possible this wonderful opportunity to work on a contemporary piece with the composer.

EXIT 8
The vocal a cappella group from Geneseo, Exit 8, sang for and with us at school on 5/4/05.  Their tight vocal harmonies and contemporary song selections left students eager to sing in such a group.  They performed an open concert in the High School Auditorium on Friday 5/6/05.  HF-L Select Choir members were invited on stage to perform a song with Exit 8 and then Select performed the song again at their own spring concert.
