Morning Band Rehearsals

The band rehearses from 7:40 to 8:45 a.m. two days a week in the Manor Band Room. Your young musician willl be a member of either the Tuesday/Thursday or Tuesday/Friday band.

Beginner Band will begin rehearsing the week of October 26th. The band rehearses from 7:40 to 8:45 a.m. in the Manor Band Room either on Monday or Wednesday.

It will be necessary for all beginning instrumental music students to either provide their own transportation, or ride the "early" bus with the Middle and High School students. Students taking the bus will be taken to the Middle School, where they transfer to the Manor School "Band Bus". If you will dropping off your child on the way to work, etc. please drop them off between 7:15 a.m. and 7:30 a.m.

School Delay Procedures

We will still have an early morning band rehearsal when we have a delay of our school day. The band rehearsal will just start one hour later (or two hours later depending on the delay). This means that children who normally ride the MS/HS busses in the early AM will now ride the MS/HS busses on a one hour delay and should still come in for early morning band on those days. This is our way of not taking away limited academic learning time during the "regular" school day.
