OUR CLASSES ARE CURRENTLY working onthe unit of Eye/Hand Coordination which includes skills such as target throw, bowling, ball tossing/catching, shuffleboard, juggling, hockey shooting, Frisbees, etc.  The students always love this introductory part of the unit as they pass through the challenges of 12 stations where they not only work on these new skills but will be exposed to a variety of new ones during the unit.  From the 12-station lessons we move into more specific skills of basketball and volleyball and cooperative activities as well.  Some of these skills include ball-handling, dribbling, shooting and passing in basketball while serving, bumping and setting are a few in volleyball.

WHAT YOU NEED FOR PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASSES:  Please refer to the Dress Code Page of the web site for details and on the PE bulletin board near the cafeteria.  Please refrain from wearing crocs for physicalactivities as they are a danger to children’s safety!!  We’re not being mean when we ask your child to sit out, we’re being cautious!  WE DO HOLD CLASSES OUTSIDE IN THE MORNINGS…please have your children dress appropriately for chilly and wet weather!
