OUR CLASSES ARE CURRENTLY working onthe unit of Eye/Hand Coordination which includes
skills such as target throw, bowling, ball tossing/catching, shuffleboard, juggling,
hockey shooting, Frisbees, etc. The students
always love this introductory part of the unit as they pass through the challenges
of 12 stations where they not only work on these new skills but will be exposed
to a variety of new ones during the unit. From the 12-station lessons we move into more specific
skills of basketball and volleyball and cooperative activities as well. Some of these skills include ball-handling, dribbling,
shooting and passing in basketball while serving, bumping and setting are a few
in volleyball.
