K-12 Physical Education Philosophy:
Physical Education contributes to students' character development and the acquisition of essential, social and personal management skills throughout their lives. Physical Education provides a unique opportunity for students to recognize that all participants, regardless of individual differences, can make significant contributions. The focus.of the physical education program is to offer a wide variety of activities in a safe environment which meets the physical, emotional, social and intellectual needs of all students. Students will graduate from Honoeye Falls-Lima with the appropriate knowledge of diverse activities, a broad spectrum of physical skills and the appreciation necessary to use those skills and maintain fitness for a lifetime of active participation.
