Lab is a New York State-required component to the course. Therefore, ALL labs involve mandatory completion. However, sickness, field trips, etc. do happen. The time and location of make-up lab is below, but here are some important things to know:

- Each Thursday, we run the lab from the week before and lab from two weeks before. Therefore, students have a three week window in which to complete a lab. There aren't many "good" excuses for never completing a lab!

-If you were present for lab, your lab is due the Monday of the following week.

-If you go to Thursday make-up lab, your make-up lab and report are due the Monday after your make-up lab.

-Other after-school activities are things YOU must work around in order to come to make-up lab. You have two weeks to select from if you miss a lab. See Mr. Benedict ASAP if you know there will be a problem with you going to either make-up lab.

-Copying someone else's work will earn a zero.

-Make-up lab begins at 2:05. Please be on time because New York State's lab requirement is about the amount of time you spend in lab, not just whether you showed up at some time. Lab make-up teachers reserve the right to refuse admission to students who are late, especially if it happens all the time.

-Students who have not completed the lab within the three week window lose credit for the lab and do research instead. This is often more time-consuming than just coming for the actual lab.

With this in mind, we have a make up lab scheduled each week at the following time:

Time: 2:05-3:00 (equal to a regular lab period)

Location: Room 106 (Mrs. Agar's room)

Teachers: Mr. Benedict & Mr. Corey

**Again, if you are absent from lab, YOU are expected to make arrangements to be at make-up lab Thursday after school. Plan carefully to account for club and athletic activities, as well as other absences so you do not earn zeroes on labs. **
