The Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction’s main responsibility is to ensure the continued improvement of the instructional program of the Honeoye Falls-Lima Central School District.  The Strategic Intents guide us in our improvement efforts and benchmarks our student achievement goals.  The Curriculum Articulation Resource Educator (CARE) representatives, teachers, support staff, and administrators work together to align our program to ensure that we assess and improve our instructional program to continue to build student success.  

The K-5 and 6-12 Coordinators of Teaching and Learning’s responsibility is to provide leadership and coordination for the teaching and learning programs of Honeoye Falls-Lima Central School District under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent for Instruction. This leadership guides the Curriculum Articulation Resource Teachers (CARE), Instructional Technology Specialists, and Teacher Mentors in order to achieve the highest possible standards of instructional excellence. This includes work with staff development, test analysis, the District’s Strategic Intents, curriculum writing, instructional materials, technology, and the budgeting process.

The Teaching Learning Council (TLC) meets bi-monthly to discuss the current status of our programming, plan for Superintendent Conference Day, review curriculum writing proposals and curriculum map, and review student assessment data.  The CARE representatives, administrators, as well as community and Board of Education representatives serve on this team.
The Teaching Learning Technology Committee (TLT) meets monthly to discuss the integration of technology into the school setting.  Community representatives, PTA representatives, Instructional Technology Staff and administrators all serve on this committee.
